How Does Greenware Compost?
Greenware will begin to break down at 150F and 90% humidity (ideal composting conditions). In approximately 50 days within those conditions, the cups will be completely gone. Greenware cups have met stringent, scientifically based specifications and have been certified 100% compostable by the Biodegradable Plastics Institute.
